For the first time, the new Focus ST is available with a 7 speed automatic transmission. This along with Adaptive Shift Scheduling delivers a driving performance that is optimized for any driving style.
The Focus ST has a Electronic Limited Slip Differential, engineered to provide the Focus ST with superior performance and stability. Electronic Limited Slip Differential maximizes control through corners by continuously analyzing data from numerous sensors. The system then adjusts the torque split between drive wheels within milliseconds.
